Untouched History
Still in place is part of the extended vision loft. The extended vision caboose was introduced in the 1950s as a redesign of the traditional caboose. Its key feature was elevated cupolas with larger windows, allowing crew members to have a broader view of the train and tracks. This improved safety and visibility.
